Mental Health Support

We understand that fostering a nurturing environment where both pupils and adults feel supported is essential for growing kind hearts and curious minds. Our commitment to respect, resilience, and kindness guides everything we do to promote emotional health and well-being.

Throughout the year, Kidgate Academy actively engages with several initiatives which help raise awareness and create a culture where well-being is prioritised alongside academic achievement. On a daily basis, our staff employ a range of strategies tailored to individuals, small groups, and whole classes. These approaches are designed to nurture resilience and kindness, ensuring that every pupil feels respected and supported in their emotional journey.

Below are a number of organisations that offer support and information:

BRIC family services

They offer support in the form of their Happier Families service, which provides early intervention support to help children and their families to become more resilient, healthier and happier.
